28th June 2015 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 35-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 4-5 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 13ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Early morning session before Anna went to work so only took small kit over to the beach with me. Rigged 4.5m sail and little wave board and first run of the day was perfectly powered up with some nice jumps off the waves on the way out and then maxed out on the way back in. Just getting the feel back for my little board on the second run but the wind started easing off. Made it back but by now there wasn't really enough wind for my 4.5m sail. Should really have changed up to a 5.0m sail, but had a couple more goes with the little sail as I didn't have much time. Needless to say, there wasn;t enough wind, especially seeing as some of the waves out the back were fairly chunky. Not wishing to get caught up in these without enough wind and without much time left to start changing sails I headed back home after a very short session. |
